Problem Note 55164: Invoking SAS® through a SAS/CONNECT® SIGNON fails with a security verification error

When you attempt to sign on to a remote host specifying AUTHDOMAIN in the SIGNON command, the command might fail and return the following error:
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred.
ERROR: Communication request rejected by partner: security verification failure.
The following is an example of a command line that would fail:
signon rem authdomain=DefaultAuth;
To circumvent the issue, specify the user ID and password in the SIGNON command instead:
signon rem user-ID.password;
